Ground Support Equipment
The FLM136 ground support equipment includes a hand controller, fueler, and battery charger.
Note: The aircraft may be delivered in various configurations that may omit or include additional equipment.
Hand Controller
The safety pilot can optionally fly the aircraft, manually or assisted, and change modes independent of the operator using the handheld controller. Most commands from the controller are sent through the telemetry radio instead of using the internal RF module located in the transmitter itself. The one exception to this is for the Truck Launch release mechanism.
Flying with the hand controller can be useful for in-flight interventions or when the launch and recovery situation is challenging, but using the controller should strictly be reserved for experienced safety pilots.

Fueler
The fueler is used to fuel and defuel the aircraft. Powering the fueler's electric pump is either a battery or auxiliary power supply. A battery-powered scale is used to meter gasoline during fueling and defueling operations. See the Fueling section for detailed fueling and mixing instructions.

Gasoline is an extremely flammable liquid and vapor. Causes skin irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Store in approved containers.
Battery Charger
The dual-channel lithium-polymer battery charger is used for the avionics, fueler, and truck launcher batteries and also supports custom battery profiles. See the Battery Management section for detailed charging instructions.
